Private Yoga Instruction

Yoga is as unique to everyone, as every individual is uniquely different. The foundation of our practice combines the physical with an inner emotional and spiritual journey. By integrating body, breath, movement, and meditative awareness, we strive to promote an understanding of the interdependency of all these aspects in your personal health and wellbeing.
The practice of breath work works directly with our nervous system. These breathing practices improve the capacity of our respiratory system, and enhances our awareness by developing a rhythm with our mind, body and breath. Awareness of our breath will help center us in moments of turbulence, and help increase your ability to focus when pain, anxiety, stress and unwelcome emotions begin to arise during labor.

A 60 min. private yoga session designed to strengthen your legs, open your hips, and increase your stamina to prepare for the physical demands of labor, while simultaneously building a deeper connection to self and baby. Pregnancy, labor and delivery are as much a spiritual, mental, and emotional life event as they are physical. Transcend beyond the mind as you calm, focus and work toward reaching a deeper state as you intimately explore and connect with yourself, baby and/or partner.
