Chelsea’s journey began on the coast of Maine, where a childhood shaped by nature, family, and caregiving laid the foundation for her work today. Growing up with two older brothers—one with Down syndrome and a life-threatening condition—she learned early the importance of compassion, responsibility, and deep human connection. These experiences continue to shape her approach to supporting families through life’s most transformative transitions.

Before entering birth work, Chelsea traveled throughout the country as a pastry chef, working at resorts and private clubs along the East Coast, New Mexico, and the Colorado Rockies. She later became an enrichment teacher at a 50+ acre, play-based agricultural school, where she worked closely with a rowdy, bright-eyed handful of toddlers and developed a deeper appreciation for growth, community, and caregiving.

That path naturally led her into in-home caregiving and newborn nanny support. With over 15 years of experience working with families in Colorado, New Mexico, Massachusetts, and Maine, Chelsea has helped create nurturing home environments, supported newborn care, and brought calm to the early stages of parenthood. She also maintains certifications in Basic Life Support and pediatric safety through the Red Cross.

After returning home to Maine, Chelsea expanded her work to support families across her home state and surrounding New England communities. As access to maternity care continues to decline in rural Maine, she is passionate about providing steady, individualized support that helps families feel informed, cared for, and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
