                                                                                    Postpartum Support

The fourth trimester is considered to begin the moment baby is born, and lasts the first three months of baby's life outside the womb. A time where great change and development occur for both you and baby. This period is a special time for bonding, rest and recovery, and a major a part of your road to healing. By having readily available resources to support you in your transition into parenthood, your transformation can be positively memorable, emotionally enriching, and feel more supported.

After baby is born, extreme shifts occur as your body naturally works to recenter. The baby blues, postpartum depression *ppd, sleep deprivation, anxiety, and mood swings are all possible to experience within the first few days, weeks or even months to follow your birth. What's important is, You, have a support system in place.

This is an important topic to be discussed in your birth plan with your birth partner, family members and any additional support system you desire. If available and able, I can provide care as Newborn Nanny to help you further rest and recover as you nest.
